PERFECT APPLE SMOOTHIE
This Apple Smoothie is unbelievably good. Paired with cinnamon and peanut butter, it has a creamy texture and tastes like Fall in a cup!

1 medium apple , cut into chunks (7 oz.; I use Gala apples)
1/2 frozen banana (3.5 oz)
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds (5 grams)
1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 cup ice cubes (about 4-5 large
In a high-speed blender, combine the apple, banana, flax, peanut butter, cinnamon, and milk. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the blender as needed. The apple should become liquified, which will add more "liquid" to the mix, but if you need to add extra liquid, you can start by adding 2 tablespoons at a time.
Once the mixture is totally smooth, add in the ice and blend again until a slushy texture is achieved. Serve right away for the best texture and flavor.
